What is Neck lift?

A Neck Lift is used to correct sagging or lax skin on the neck as well as the appearance of a "double chin".

About the Neck lift Procedure - How does it Work?

Fullness in the neck area can be treated in three different ways. Patients with fullness in their neck but good overall skin tone may only need Liposuction.

For patients who have lax underlying neck muscles in addition to fullness in their neck, Dr. Drehsen first performs Liposuction to the neck and then makes an incision behind the chin crease to tighten the neck muscles (Liposuction and Plication). Occasionally a chin implant is used to enhance the neckline.

If a patient has a full neck with noticeable skin laxity or jowls, they will need both a Face Lift and Neck Lift.
